Sarah is a mom who suffered from nerve damage during childbirth. When she came home from the hospital, she not only had to take care of her newborn, but also a 4 year old son. Well, 12 years later the son is on a mission. The experience left such an impact on him that, as a high school junior, he is now working to disseminate information about nerve injuries during labor and delivery to those that can best prevent them: OB/GYNs. He is also hoping to reach neurologists, primary care physicians and anesthesiologists. He created the below brochure to hand out to these groups.
A huge shout out and thank you to Omar for fighting for women’s and mothers-to-be’s health. Sarah, you should be so proud.
